On 1 January 2017, changes to the Centrelink Age Pension assets test will come into place that will impact some Australians. Some people stand to gain from these changes, while others will have their Pensioner Concession Card cancelled and as a result, no longer qualify for our hearing services.
If you are one of the people affected, you can contact us to renew your three year hearing services voucher before 23 December 2016. You can do this by either visiting your local Australian Hearing centre or calling us on 1300 348 952.
How do I find out if I’m affected?
If you are affected by the changes, you may have received a letter from Centrelink. If you are unsure of your pension card status, you can call Centrelink on 132 300 or read the information on the humanservices.gov.au website which explains the changes.
